MOGADISHU (SD) -The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Salah Ahmed Jama, who closed the Biannual Human Capital Development Forum, emphasized the profound importance that Somali intellectuals placed on enhancing the empowerment and aspirations of the Somali people.

Mr. Salax emphasized the need for the youth to be empowered through skills development, enabling them to contribute effectively to society. He cited the successes achieved by countries that have prioritized human development.

The Deputy Prime Minister further noted that the Federal Government has recognized the importance of this issue, establishing the Human Capital Development Office.

The conference was attended by federal and regional-level Ministries of Social Affairs, members of both houses of parliament, ambassadors, and heads of international organizations.
