MOGADISHU (SD) – The Federal Government of Somalia, says in fulfilling its duty to protect the lives of the Somali people, particularly the National Army, has instructed the Somali National Army deployed in the Lower Juba region to take over from ATMIS (African Union Transition Mission in Somalia) and ensure their withdrawal from the area.
This decision came after accusations from Ahmed Madobe, who is seen as having jeopardized the lives of Somali youth, whose blood holds great value.
The Somali National Army has received no orders to engage in combat with anyone other than the Al-Shabaab militants. They are committed to fulfilling their national duty to protect the country, its people, and its faith by any means necessary.
