Baidoa (SD) – The bodies of two children of former parliamentarian Sheikh Aweys Abdullahi, a member of the Somali parliament was found this morning on the outskirts of Baidoa, the capital of the Transitional Capital of the South West Administration.
The children went missing yesterday while on transit to a Quranic school, and were reportedly found, dead, and brutally killed.
Local residents told the media that the children, a girl and a boy, had their kidneys and livers removed.
Meanwhile, the security agencies of the South West administration said they are currently conducting investigations to find the perpetrators.
Former parliamentarian Sheikh Aweys Abdullahi has not yet commented on the brutal killing of his two young kids.
Residents in Baidoa, the capital of Bay region have strongly condemned the brutal treatment of these two murdered children.
