Mogadishu (SD) – Somali Civil society organizations have expressed concern about the lack of progress in the elections discussions in the country.
They lamented that the Federal Government of Somalia’s announced negative results of the conference, which the Somali people expected to reach an agreement on the electoral dispute between the FSG and the FMS.
Press Release issued by Somali Civil Society Organizations said that the country’s leaders should continue talks on electoral issues.
Civil society organizations have also called on Somali traditional elders, clerics, intellectuals and scholars to support all efforts ensuring elections take place in the country.
