GAROWE (SD) -Former President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, today arrived in the city of Garowe, the capital of Nugal Region, where they were warmly welcomed.

At the General Mohamed Abshir Airport in Garowe, Mohamed Farmaajo was received by the President of Puntland State, Said Abdullahi Deni, Members of Parliament, Ministers, and various community leaders.

The purpose of Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s visit is to hold reconciliation talks with Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni, with discussions focused on the political situation in the country and constitutional matters.

Both leaders are particularly concerned about the ongoing constitutional amendments currently being debated.

President Said Abdullahi Deni has been strongly critical of the former Farmajo administration, but now it seems that they are united in the opposition of President Hassan Sheikh.
