Four killed in Mogadishu blast

MOGADISHU (SD) – At least four people have been killed in a landmine explosion in Mogadishu on Tuesday.

According to witnesses, a Toyota Hilux vehicle has ran over the IED suspected to have been planted on the roadside in Dharkenley district.

The blast killed assistant of Division officer (DO) of Garasbaley, Ali Mohamed Moalim, Garasbaley youth chairperson Abdirashid Dubbad.

Two of the bodyguards were also killed in the explosion.

Authorities have not commented on the latest attack against the government officials..

Al-Shabaab militant group has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
