Hargeisa (SD) – According to information received from sources in Hargeisa, the city’s hospital employees did not receive their salary this month.

This comes at a time when frontline workers are risking their lives and their families in fighting Covis-19.

The Hargeisa employees lack of pay is due to a dispute between the Hospital Administration and the country’s Ministry of Health.

Salaries and Allowances for the Hargeisa General Hospital Health Workers vary from an average of $ 300 to $ 100 per month.

Somaliland Government didn’t publicly address the issue yet, the lack of pay issues seem to be persistent not only at the Hospital but other sectors of the government.
