NAIROBI (SD)-President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, traveled to Nairobi Kenya, where he met with his counterpart, William Ruto.

In a brief statement, William Ruto, regarding President Hassan Sheikh’s visit and the meeting they had, said, “Our collaboration with the government of the Republic of Somalia is bearing fruit. The region is witnessing greater peace and stability.”

Additionally, the President of Kenya stated that, ” We commit to grow this relationship.”

A statement from the Somali government media explained, “President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in the city of Nairobi today and met with the President of Kenya, William Ruto. During their meeting held at State House, Nairobi, the two leaders discussed further enhancing the multi-faceted Somalia-Kenya strategic partnership, underpinned by a shared interest in promoting regional stability and prosperity.

The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is on his third trip to Kenya within a month.
