Mogadishu(SD)- Three separate Mortars were aimed at different areas in Mogadishu, including near the Somali presidential palace in today.

Witnesses said three shells fell around the presidential palace, one of the mortars hit the vicinity of the Embassy of Ethiopia in Somalia.

Another mortar hit the Campground near the Commando Polizio Police Station.

Reports also indicate that another mortar hit the Ago Dhiig district in Mogadishu.

The mortar shells were launched during midday prayers, and were heard all over Mogadishu.

No casualties have been reported so far, in all parts of Mogadishu that were hit, especially near the presidential palace, Al-Shabaab militants often claim the mortars attacks.
