Washington(SD)-Newspapers from Israel and the United States, including The Times of Israel and Judicial Watch have denounced Ilhan Omar “for supporting Hormud” because the Congresswoamn demanded that the peacekeeping forces protect the company and telecommunications in Somalia.
Ilhan posted on her Twitter account a message condemning an attack on the company’s headquarters at the Kenya-Somalia border.
“Somali government and peacekeeping forces, need to protect @Hormuud and the Somali telecom industry as they make enormous contribution to the economy and provide vital services, During my visit to Somalia in 2011, I was surprised by the quick evolution of technology in Somalia.” The US congresswoman Ilhan Omar posted on twitter August 25th.
It’s not yet clear who the attackers were, but the company has previously reported that more than 11 centers were destroyed at the border between the two countries.
The newspapers cite pre-written and unsubstantiated reports, blaming the company.
The Israeli newspaper quoted reports from the United Nations. Their report was titled “Ilhan Omar intentionally supported a bad organization”.
Judicial Watch also writes that Ilhaan “Rep. Omar Declares Support for Terrorist Financier’s Company in Her Native Somalia”.
Ilhan Omar have been the preferred target of Right wing ideologues since she interred into politics.
