Dublin December 15, 2022 (SD) – Police in Ireland today confirmed a young Somali man was killed last weekend in Dublin.

Police in West Dublin found the body of Mohamud Ilyas in a secluded area wrapped in a carpet.

West Dublin police have since arrested a 50-year-old unnamed man for possible connection to the murder.

Criminal investigators suspect that Mohamud was killed by someone he knew and speculated the possibility that organized gangs were behind his murder.
