KISMAYU (SD)-The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe), has called a special meeting for the Members of Parliament representing the Jubaland administration.

This meeting, described by the president as an important consultation, is scheduled to take place in Kismayo, the interim capital of Jubaland.

The meeting is expected to be different from regular sessions, serving as a platform to discuss various political directions for Jubbaland. It is noteworthy that Ahmed Madobe has invited the MPs to attend this meeting on the 8th of this month.

Reports indicate that the meeting will focus on the growing conflict between the Jubbaland administration and Ahmed Madobe’s leadership.

This conflict seems to be rooted in political disagreements and the relationship between Jubbaland and the Federal Government of Somalia. Alongside this, there have been recent resignations from some Jubbaland members within the government, significantly affecting the political stability of both the Jubbaland administration and the central government.
