MOGADISHU (SD) – Jubbaland state in southern Somalia has commended the role played by Prime Minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble in handling the case of Ikran Tahlil Farah who reportedly killed last week after she went missing more than two months ago.
In a statement, Jubbaland leader Ahmed Mohamed Madobe said PM Roble has the authority to suspend Fahad Yasin since he has stewardship over security and the electoral process.
Madobe condemned President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo’s move reinstate Fahad, saying the move could promote oppression and injustice which can lead to disruption of the upcoming elections.
Jubaland also accuses the President of intentionally undermining the PM’s effort to bring justice to Ikran’s family.
Prime minister Roble and President Farmaajo faced off over the dismissal of the Fahad Yassin over the murder of Ikran
