NAIROBI (SD) – Dozens of bomb experts have been deployed at a building in Eastleigh of Kenya’s capital Nairobi after reports that there was an explosive in the building.

According to locals, unknown people have left a threatening note in one of the lifts at Yare Towers near Garissa Lodge.

Starehe divisional police commander (OCDP) who spoke to the media has confirmed the dispatch of the forces saying the government sent bomb squad to the location.

According to Kiragu, a search for the explosive is on.

The note stated that the bomb was programmed to go off anytime from 1pm.
