Mogadishu (SD) – The Acting Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdirahman Duale Beyle, today met with UN officials, led by the United Nations Special Representative for Somalia, James Swan, to discuss the country’s economic situation.

Minister Beyle said they discussed in particular the transformation and development of Somalia’s finances, noting that the UN Office in Somalia has pledged continued support to the Somali community.

Beyle and James Swan discussed the federal government’s financial reforms and improvements, using the SMP4 system.
