MOGADISHU (SD) – Two people have been killed and another one wounded after an auto-rickshaw they were traveling hit by an IED in Mogadishu.

Sources confirmed that the explosion occurred Garasbaley neighbourhood on the outskirts of Mogadishu.

Local authorities have not commented on the blast.

No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack.

Mogadishu this week started lower house elections after months of delay.

The election of two of sixty-one seats allocated to Somaliland were held in Mogadishu though the dispute resolution committee suspended results of one of the seats.
