GAROWE (SD)-The President of Puntland State of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni, today officially launched the final exams for the 8th and 12th grades of Puntland’s schools for the academic year 2023/2024.

More than 20,000 students are expected to sit for the exams in all districts of Puntland.

The President, alongside the Minister of Education of Puntland, Mr. Fu’aad Abshir Ahmed, who attended the launching, stated that the government is committed to providing equal opportunities and encouragement to students sitting for the exams, with the aim of success.

President Said Abdullahi Deni, who personally handed exam papers to 12th graders, expressed optimism about the results.

In recent years, Puntland’s diploma exams have been held simultaneously across all regions after the curriculum of Puntland schools was standardized.
