MOGADISHU (SD)-Some members of the House of the People have strongly criticized the President of the Federal Government, accusing him of failing to lead the country effectively.

MP Yusuf Gamadid has called for the president to resign, the MP also stated that the established system of governance, which included three branches of government, has been dismantled, with everything now being centralized under a single office, the Presidency.

MP Abdulmalik Abdalla, another member of the House of the People, has also strongly criticized the government and President Hassan Sheikh, alleging that they are responsible for internal conflicts, illegal arms, and drug trafficking into Somalia.

These statements from members of the House of the People come as President Hassan Sheikh and Prime Minister Hamza face increasing pressure from the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
