Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland President Muse Bihi and his delegation returned to Hargeisa this afternoon after a three-day visit to Kenya.

The President and his delegation were welcomed at Egal International Airport by the Vice President of Somaliland, members of the cabinet, commanders of various forces, parliamentarians, Sultans and other officials.

The President’s delegation was warmly welcomed on the streets of the Somaliland capital, Hargeisa, by various sections of the Public.

Speaking to the media at the airport, Mr. Muse Bihi explained the purpose of the trip and Somaliland’s achievements in its agreements with Kenya, and the President answered questions from the media about the trip.

While Muse Bihi was in Nairobi, the Somali federal government cut diplomatic ties with Kenya, Somalia claimed the official trip was a violation of its sovereignty.
