Hargeisa (SD) – The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, today paid a working visit to the Hargeisa Stadium where the Somaliland regional football tournament is taking place.

Muse Bihi visit to Hargeisa Stadium, where the Somaliland regional football tournament is currently at quarter finals, witnessed the preparations at the stadium and the hard work of the sports coaches and security forces.

The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, said that the ongoing regional games in the country have demonstrated the professionalism of Somaliland players and rose Somaliland’s profile.

“We thank God for the good performance of the players and for the games that surprised the whole world that Somaliland has the ability to play. Thank God for the administration and the teams that are playing well. I pray to God that it will continue to be a good work that we all agree on and that will enhance our reputation and our youth, and we will continue to play, God willing. ” said Bihi.

The president made it clear that the games were going well, praising the security forces for maintaining security.

President Muse Bihi Abdi prayed for all the troops and supporters who were injured in yesterday’s clashes between Hawd and Daad-madheed regions, and advised the youth to control their emotions during the games, warning the media not to broadcast disseminating disruptive and insecure news to the public.
