Hargeisa (SD) – The chairperson’s of the UCID and Waddani parties today bid farewell to the outgoing European Union Ambassador to Somalia Nicolas Berlanga.

The two chairperson’s of UCID and Waddani parties, Faisal Ali Warabe and Abdirahman Irro thanked the Ambassador for his role in holding the dual elections in the Republic of Somaliland on 31 May 2021.

The opposition party leaders thanked the EU Ambassador for the EU’s financial support for development projects in the Republic of Somaliland.

Finally, the leadership of the Opposition requested that Ambassador Berlanga to urged the EU to continue their support and assistance to the Republic of Somaliland.
