MOGADISHU(SD)—The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, opened a Trauma and Emergency Center at the Somali Police Force Hospital in Medina.

He noted that his administration has established several facilities, including the blood bank, which was renovated and reopened for the first time, and the emergency response center. He emphasized the commitment to completing and equipping the military hospital.

The new center, funded by donations from the Somali people following the Soobe 2 bombing, includes patient care, maternity, and emergency sections. It will significantly enhance emergency response capabilities.

Prime Minister Hamza thanked the National Emergency Committee for managing the funds effectively and highlighted the center’s role in providing medical care for soldiers and civilians affected by conflicts with extremist groups.
