Djibouti (SD) – The President of the Republic of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh has received at the Presidential Palace the Prime Minister of the Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble who arrived in the country yesterday to attend the 5th session of the Heritage Forum of Scholars from the Horn of Africa.
The meeting between the President and the Prime Minister of Somalia focused on the promotion of brotherly relations between our two peoples who share a common religion, culture and language.
The two leaders also discussed the ongoing support of the Republic of Djibouti for Somalia, especially as the country prepares for the next parliamentary and presidential elections.
Prime Minister Roble thanked Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh for his role in bringing peace and stability to Somalia, and thanked him for his hospitality.
The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed Hussein Roble, was in Djibouti for the conclusion of three-day Heritage Forum.
