Hargeisa (SD) – The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, attended a large-scale event hosted by the Somalilander American Health Association (SAHA), a non-profit organization of Somaliland health professionals based in the United States.

The event highlighted the importance of this group of doctors to the Somaliland community as a whole and their role in the health situation in the country, also outlined the organization’s important work for the people and what they intent to contribute their country’s future.

Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Madar and Dr. Mohamud Dahir Afq-qarshe from SAHA who both spoke there, said the organization is made up of volunteer doctors who have organized themselves to provide health care to their communities. They will contribute their resources and time to give advice and guidance to the nation of the Republic of Somaliland.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland Muse Bihi Abdi Concluding the Ceremony by thanking the Somaliland Medical Association in the United States of America (SAHA) and said that they are fulfilling their duty to support their people and their country.
