BOSSASO (SD) – Puntland President Said Deni has reinstated the former director of the PSF Gen. Mohamud Osman Diyano to a renamed security agency.

The appointment follows a series of talks brokered by Bossaso elders between the President and the sacked PSF director.

Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni divided the PSF into two agencies, naming Mohamud Diyano and Amin Haji Khair their respective directors.

Gen. Mohamud Diyano has been appointed Director of the Puntland Security Commando Forces, while Gen. Amin Haji Khair has been appointed Director of the new Puntland Intelligence Special Forces.

The new appointments came as a result of talks between King Burhan and President Deni and Gen. Mohamud Diyano.
