President Farmajo to address members of parliament today

Mogadishu (SD) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is scheduled to address the House of Representatives today to report on state of the country.

The members of the House of representatives will convene tomorrow at their headquarters at Villa Hargeisa to listen to the president’s speech on detailing the country’s current situation.

Sources say Somalia’s Federal President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is expected to request lawmakers to extend the care taker prime minister’s term.

The meeting coming at the same day the President and the Federal Member States were to meet in Dhusamareb for further discussions on ways to hold a timely elections in the country.
