DUBAI (SD) -The President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro, and a large delegation he is leading departed today for an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The UAE government officially invited the Somaliland President and sent a special Royal Jet for his travel.

This marks President Irro’s first international trip since assuming office. The President and his delegation will spend three days in the UAE, during which they will hold various meetings with UAE officials to discuss matters of mutual importance.

During his official visit, the President will also meet with members of the Somaliland diaspora residing in the UAE.
