NAIROBI (SD) – The President of Somaliland, Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), currently on his official visit to Kenya, held a wide-ranging meeting with Somaliland’s partners based in Kenya.

The President was accompanied by members of his delegation and senior officials from Somaliland’s recently opened office in Nairobi, Kenya.

On the other side, representatives from the international community in attendance included Ambassadors, Deputy Ambassadors, United Nations agencies, World Bank officials, African Development Bank officials, and Senior representatives from countries partnering with Somaliland.

President Irro addressed Somaliland’s partners, outlining his administration’s plans concerning Development, Peace, Democracy,
Economic matters, Other priority issues for the Republic of Somaliland.

Additionally, Somaliland’s partners in attendance commended the President for his government’s recent formal integration of clan militias and pledged unified cooperation based on mutual understanding and collaboration.
