Kismayo (SD) – The President of Galmudug State of Somalia Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoorqoor has today received the AMISOM Force Commander and other officials at the State House.

After the meeting, officials inspected the venues scheduled for the parliamentary elections in the capital city of Dhusamareb.

Electoral and security issues were discussed at the meeting.

The meeting comes at a time of heightened tensions between the Galmudug administration and Ahlu Sunna in Galmudug, particularly in the Guriel region.
