BAGHDAD (SD)-Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, arrived yesterday in Baghdad, the capital of the Republic of Iraq.
A press release from the Prime Minister’s Office stated that the Prime Minister has commenced an official visit to Baghdad, the capital of the Republic of Iraq.
The statement also indicated that during his stay, the Prime Minister’s visit will span several days, during which he will hold important meetings with his Iraqi counterpart.
“The Prime Minister’s official visit to Iraq, spanning several weeks, will include important meetings with his counterpart in Iraq, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi,” the statement said.
Both Prime Ministers will discuss enhancing the historical relations and ongoing cooperation between the two countries of Somalia and Iraq, as stated by the office of the PM.
