GAROWE(SD)-The Puntland Police Force, in collaboration with the Somali Regional State Police in Ethiopia, has apprehended a network involved in the trafficking of young people.
The Puntland Police Command announced that the network, consisting of 8 members, was trafficking youth from the Puntland regions to hand them over to human traffickers known as “Magafas.”
The Puntland Police Command also revealed the names of the network members, who were captured in the Qabri Dahar district of the Somali Regional State (DDS).
The Puntland Police, particularly the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Nugaal region, are continuing operations to dismantle these networks that have been misleading the youth of Puntland.
