BOSSASO (SD) -Puntland Defense Forces, on the second day of an operation aimed at dismantling terrorist elements in the Jecel Valley of the Al-miskad Mountains, announced the second round of casualties among ISIS militants.

A report accompanied by photos released by the Puntland Defense Command stated that their forces killed up to 57 ISIS militants between last night and today, most of whom were foreign fighters from various countries.

“The Puntland Defense Forces, conducting anti-terror operations for two consecutive days in the Dharin and Qurac areas of the Jeceel Valley, have killed additional terrorists, bringing the total number to over 57,” the statement read.

The report also mentioned that the forces have fully cleared the conflict zones along the Jecel Valley of all terrorist elements.
