Mogadishu (SD) — Puntland’s Minister of Environment and Agriculture Ismail Dirie Gama’did died in Mogadishu today of Coronavirus. according to Puntland officials.

The minister was recently brought to Mogadishu from Garowe for health reasons and is said to have been diagnosed with the Coronavirus virus.

The president of Puntland State of Somalia send his condolence to the minister’s family and wished all his family and friends to be patient and to ask Allah to grant him paradise.

Minister Gama’did was one of numerous Puntland officials who contracted COVID-19 recently.
