Garowe (SD) – Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni has accused the Somali federal government of being involved in actions that could cause violence in Somaliland.
Deni told the BBC: “One of the things we know is that it is bypassing the Somaliland administration and is speaking directly to the tribes, creating conflict between the government of Somaliland and its public.”
Puntland President, Said Deni, said Puntland is welcoming an agreement on Somaliland’s fate, but said the federal government has an unanimous plan for Somaliland in exchange of something that’s not agreed upon and is not good for co-existence.
The Puntland state president’s comments came at a time when the Somali Federal Government has delivered medical supplies to Buhodle and Badhan, both in disputed regions.
