Garowe January 02, 2023 (SD) – The President of Puntland State of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni, who spoke to the media in Garowe today, addressed the situation in Lasanod and issues surrounding Puntland elections.

President Deni said the planned Voter registration process and measures to deal with the situation in Lasanod will be done at the same time.

The President added the suppression and killing of the people of Lasanod cannot be tolerated and called on the Sool Sanaag and Eyn communities to resolve the issue together.

The President of Puntland did not present a plan or immediate steps that his government is taking to deal with the situation in Lasanod.
