Garowe (SD) – Puntland administration led by President Said Abdullahi Deni expands medical facilities and Covid 19 Isolation Centers aimed at dealing with the global pandemic of Coronavirus.

Puntland COVID 19 Protection Committee increase the number of COVID-19 suspected Isolation Base and noted that they would take action soon.

Although cases have not yet been reported in Puntland regional state, the effort made by the committee mainly is to prevent COVID-19.

Previously Puntland Administration has issued an orders to the public not to gathering and imposed a night curfew in order to avoid the spread of COVID 19.

On 30th March 2020, Puntland regional government has banned public service transport for 15 days in a bid to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Federal government Ministry of Health implemented coronavirus patient isolation based in Mogadishu last month and notifird the Public the coronavirus dangerous in the country.
