BOSSASO (SD)-Puntland Security Forces conducted a military operation in Bossaso last night, seizing a large cache of illegal weapons and military equipment.

Officials from the Bosaso security departments confirmed that they confiscated a significant number of illegal weapons following an operation conducted at a house in one of the neighborhoods of Bosaso.

They stated that the security forces raided the house and found a large quantity of weapons, including small and large firearms, hidden there, along with ammunition and military uniforms.

They mentioned that the seizure of these weapons was facilitated by the recent arrest of an individual accused of trafficking illegal arms, who was apprehended in Bossaso.
