HARGEISA (SD) -Somaliland’s intelligence agency, the NIA, has announced that it has arrested two members of the Somali National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
The detainees are accused of planning assassinations in the city of Boorama, the capital of Awdal region, according to reports from the Somaliland-affiliated television.
The agency also stated that it is searching for six additional suspects believed to have been sent from Mogadishu. However, Somaliland has not disclosed the names or photographs of the arrested individuals.
So far, the Somali intelligence did not respond to the allegations.
