Galdogob (SD) – Delegates from Puntland Government and Somali Regional State of Ethiopia held a meeting in Galdogob district of Mudug region, discussing security.

The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Finance, Commerce, the Mudug regional administration and security agencies, the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia was represented by the Governors of Dollo, Bookh, Galhamur, Galaadi, Danod and regional security agencies.

The leaders of the two sides discussed in depth security cooperation, trade, taxation and strengthening cooperation between Puntland and the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia.

At the meeting, the leaders of the two areas agreed to unite in their fight against terrorism and other acts of insecurity on both sides.

At the end of the conference, a joint was signed by Puntland and the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia.
