Mogadishu (SD) – Somalia’s Northern Electoral Commission has released the schedule for two of the seats in Somalia’s House of Representatives # HOP239 and # HOP237, registrations began on Friday for the two-day registration of candidates.

“The Somaliland Electoral Commission (SEIT) announces that seat numbers Hop-239 and Hop-237 would launch the Parliamentary election in Mogadishu.” SEIT announced today.

Adding “Therefore we inform all candidates from the said Tribes and interested in those seats to registered within the set date.”

Hussein Arab Issa is the current incumbent of seat #Hop239, and deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled is said to be after it this time around.

On the other hand, Bihi Iman Egeh, the current incumbent, is expected to handily win his re-election.

Prime Minister Roble, repeatedly asked politicians from the Northern regions and the election Commission to begin the election of the Lower House.
