Djibouti (SD) – The Republic of Djibouti today responded to a recent threats from the leader of Al Shabab Ahmed Omar Abu Ubaydah.

Abu Ubaydah recently recorded a 20-minute message, ahead of Djibouti’s September 9th presidential election, criticizing the country’s president.

Djibouti said in a released statement that it will continue to be a true friend of Somalia and international actors working to contribute to the stability of Somalia.
