Mogadishu (SD)- Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a (ASWJ) has stated that there is no agreement between them, the federal government of Somalia or President Qorqor’s new Galmudug administration.

In a press statement, Ahlu Sunna’s leader Sheikh Mohamed Shakir Ali Hassan, leveled multiple accusations against  both the federal government ans Galmudug State.

“The FGS has focused on dismantling the historic Djibouti Agreement to eliminate Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a in order to put extremist groups such as Al Shabab and Daish in charge, It has created an unbalanced administration that does not reflect the two previously unified administrations.” the statement said.
The statement also said, “We are stating that no agreement has been reached between ASWJ, the FGS and the Galmudug administration They established from Mogadishu.”

Ahlu-Sunna said in the statement that it is not part of the federal government’s formation in Galmudug, and called on the Galmudug community to stand up against what they said was the extremist group that invaded the country.

Finally, the Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a statement made it clear to that the international community and the Somali people that the FGS and its allies have been working to destroy Galmudug and fight the ASWJ as to give Al Shabab a chance to regain control to areas liberated by ASWJ 12 years ago, However, Ahlu Sunna will not accept it as a result of the federal government’s irresponsible actions.
