Mogadishu (SD) – The Federal Government of Somalia today used its police force to disperse peaceful demonstrators in Mogadishu.

Demonstration were reportedly against the Federal Government of Somalia and were organized by the country’s opposition coalition who are concerned about the next election.

Reports indicate that the government has deployed a large number of troops at Mogadishu’s unknown Soldier (Deljirka Dahson), were protesters gathered peacefully.

The Somali Government forces were have also reportedly used live ammunition on civilians who were protesting at the Unknown Soldier center.

The Somali federal government and the opposition coalition didn’t address the situation yet.
