Mogadishu (SD) – Minister of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia Osman Abokar Dubbe responded to messages from some members of the International Partner countries regarding the Somalia’s current on political situation.
Minister Dube called on the ambassadors working in Somalia to respect the independence and sovereignty of the Somali government and its people.
The minister dismissed the latest tweets of the country’s political partners on the election talks in Mogadishu.
“We will not accept that the country’s sovereignty is being violated and that ambassadors should not cross the line,” said Minister Dubbe.
Osman Abokar Dubbe said threatened future violators with legal action.
The statement from Somalia’s information minister comes days after countries supporting Somalia’s reconstruction ordered Somali leaders to compromise and hold elections.
