MOGADISHU (SD) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama, officially opened the Somali Internet Governance Forum, a significant platform for discussing the role of the Internet in Somalia’s development.
The purpose of this forum is to be a place for sharing ideas, recommendations, and practical solutions related to internet governance.
Mr. Salah Jama emphasized the importance of collaboration between the community, government, and private companies to build an effective system for managing the internet, which can lead to significant development in various sectors.
The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of this forum for the Somali people, many of whom rely on internet services for various aspects of their social and economic lives.
