Mogadishu (SD) – Somali Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdirizak Mohamud and Kenyan Ambassador Raychelle Omamo discussed re-establishing relations between the two governments and reopening embassies in Mogadishu and Nairobi.
A statement from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two Governments stated that the two discussed security, trade and strengthening relations between the two countries.
The Somali and Kenyan foreign ministers highlighted the importance of reopening the two governments’ embassies in Mogadishu and Nairobi, further strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries.
