Somali Ministry of Security bans Francisco Madeira from the country

MOGADISHU (SD) – The Somali government’s Ministry of Internal Security has issued a decree barring the return of African Union envoy to Somalia Francisco Madeira, who was recently declared PNG by Prime Minister Roble.

Somalia’s Ministry of Security Abdullahi Mohamed Nur has instructed the Somali Immigration and Nationality Agency to revoke the AU SRCC Amb. Francisco Madeira’s Visa.

The move comes after African Union Commissioner Moussa Faki Mahamat has opposed the decision by Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble to expel African Union envoy to Somalia Francisco Madeira.

Finally, the Minister of Security said that the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, Madeira, will never be allowed back to Somalia.
