MOGADISHU (SD) -Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Somalia, Alper Aktaş, at his office. They discussed enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister conveyed his condolences to the Turkish Ambassador regarding the recent tragic incident where a Turkish national was killed by extremist groups while participating in the humanitarian aid distribution during the holy month of Ramadan.

In return, Ambassador Alper Aktaş affirmed Turkey’s commitment to supporting the Somali people, emphasizing that such heinous acts would not deter their support and solidarity with their Somali brothers and sisters.
