Mogadishu December 18, 2022 (SD) – The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre attending an event marking International Anti-Corruption Day today launched what he called a revolution to fight corruption.
The PM said his government will establish institutions and laws to fight corruption and said is committed to eradicating corruption.
Prime Minister Hamse underlined that there is no enemy greater than corruption in the country and that’s the one posed by Al-Shabaab.
The PM and his government did not give details of his proposed anticorruption revolution.
According to Transparency International, Somalia is currently the most corrupt country in the world.
