Mogadishu (SD) – Somali Federal Parliamentarians from Jubbaland have filed a complaint against African Union Representative to Somalia Francisco Madeira, demanding his firing.

The MPs addressed their complaint with the AU Commission Chairperson, accusing the AU’s Representative in Somalia disrespecting one of the Somali communities.

In a recent update to the security council, Mr. Madeira labeled a recent Jubaland agreement as a “tribal reconciliation’” as supposed to a political one, upsetting Jubaland communities.
